WEIR SHOCKED AT BALLYCROCHAN CAR ACCIDENT

“I was shocked and saddened to hear of the terrible accident on the junction of Ballycrochan Road and Hawe Road late on Friday night which has left one man fighting for his life and two other injured. My thoughts and prayers are with the critically injured man and his family, and we all hope for a swift and full recovery. This is not the first that there has been a serious road incident near this junction, and I urge the authorities to do all that they can to ensure the safety of traffic. This incident did not involve an other car, and it highlights the need for the greatest care to be taken with road safety, before tragedy and heartbreak is brought to the door of an other family.”
