North Down DUP MLA Councillor Peter Weir MLA has offered his warm congratulations to local Bangor business Primacy Meats who became Northern Ireland’s Butcher of the Year at the Northern Ireland Neighbourhood Retailer Awards held at the Ramada Hotel last Friday night. Councillor Weir praised the rewards for the hard work of the company and added:
“It is always a pleasure to be able to offer congratulations to local businesses that have been recognised for their hard work and high skill levels. Local small businesses are the life blood of the local economy and form the backbone of the local community, providing jobs and investment in the local area. In a time of great economic uncertainty it is most pleasing to see a local firm being rewarded for their achievements and their pursuit of excellence.
Primacy Meats being named Butcher of the Year at the prestigious Northern Ireland Neighbourhood Retailer Awards is a fine example of how traditional small businesses can continue to thrive when they concentrate on quality of service and product.
I would offer my warmest congratulations to the owners, management and staff of Primacy Meats for the hard work and dedication that they have put in to their work in order to achieve such a prestigious award. The reward is just reward for the thriving small business community in North Down who bring much value added to not only the Bangor business community but also to the wider community of North Down.” |
