WEIR SHOCKED AT RUGBY PLAYER DEATH

“I am shocked and stunned at news of the death of Bangor man Graham Ryans while training at Ballymacormick Rugby Grounds on Saturday. This is a tragedy which has shocked the whole town and at this difficult time our prayers should be with his wife and family. To lose someone so young is a bitter blow, and it will be particularly hard on his wife and two young children. It seems from reports that every effort was made to save him but that there was nothing that could be done to prevent this tragic accident. This has cast a huge shadow both over the club and the town as a whole.”
