To come in the top 3 places in 5 different categories and for Bangor to win the Best Large Town and North Down the best overall entry is an achievement that must be celebrated.

The work and effort of the NDBC Grounds Maintenance Section must receive special praise and commendation. This team of people and their hard work are the reason for North Down achieving such great results in this year’s competition. Congratulations to them and to all those people in North Down that have put blood, sweat and tears into making this year North Down’s best year to date in the Ulster in Bloom competition.”
